In EFS, the purpose of Training & Development is to transfer expertise and
knowledge for employee skill enhancement and personality development.
Skilled and motivated employees are capable of contributing positively
towards the company's strategic business objectives.
Training & Development is managed by the EFS Center of Excellence (COE). The
customised Training Calendar and training content is established in
alignment with the company's 360 degree vision for overall growth. The
training programmes are developed based on the job profiles in the company.
COE provides technical and non-technical training programmes for
Technicians, Supervisors, Coordinators and Facilities Managers, as well as
support staff including but not limited to HR, Finance, Marketing and IT.
The dedicated, state of the art 150 seat facility consists of workshops,
flexible class rooms, an auditorium, and discussion rooms fitted with
suitable technology, including multi-media suites that enables us to provide
a full range of blended learning solutions. Resources include in-house hard
services, soft services and soft skill trainers, as well as access to a
network of Subject Matter Experts.
For further enrichment of knowledge, COE has entered into a Training
Affiliate License Agreement with International Facility Management
Association (IFMA) to provide Facilities Management Professional (FMP)
training in the territories that include UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain,
Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan.
