Last evening the incredible EFS team brought home the prestigious Innovation in Facilities Management Award for Education Initiative of the Year, recognising the impact of the EFS SEED Program rolled out across the group to empower all EFS supervisors!
Innovation in Facilities Management Awards organised by BNC Publishing is one of the leading events applauding the achievements of the region’s facilities management professionals. The awards strive to recognise individual excellence, corporate strengths, projects, technology and innovation success.
The SEED program is designed to empower all EFS ground Supervisors by selecting participants to take part in a four-month-long training program. The learning journey is based on the hardcore Functional Development, which includes a Blended Learning Approach of – 20:30:50.
The mixed learning path is divided into CLASSROOM LEARNING – 20% of the time with Lecture learning format on key topics on modules that require class intervention and face to face interaction with the instructor. 30% is represented by ONLINE LEARNING created as a Self-paced concept in the style of “anytime anywhere” learning modules, including case studies, videos and research papers. ON-THE-JOB LEARNING represents 50% of the SEED program and includes Simulation and Practical Demonstrations, Group Discussions, Team Building Activities, Live work.
The personalised and adapted SEED program has a major impact on the continuous development of EFS’s supervisors, empowering them and equipping them with the digital and soft skills required in the dynamic work demands.
