Our new campaign “EFS Young Leaders Program – Talent Incubator” will follow the young leader’s program (YLP) team’s process and their journey in assisting departments in designing and implementing innovative technological solutions and smart platforms to enhance work management productivity.
YLP was specifically designed as a program for young graduates/millennials searching for their first step into employment. EFS Group, through this program, develops and provides a safe and structured environment to help the graduates to gain valuable work experience, explore selected industry career paths, and gain crucial soft skills. Through the YLP program, the company aims to build the capabilities of our interns and help young talent recognise their true potential. The program provides a platform for interns to embark on a transformational journey of personal and professional development while building their own identity within the organisation, taking on new challenges, and eventually progressing into new roles. The aim is for each trainee to pave their path to success.
Our first episode starts with our genius Majd Hamadeh and Muhammad Salman, both Engineer Software Development and their incredible start working with EFS Iconic annual carnival followed by more valuable innovations.
Our young leaders spoke with one voice about their exposure to the FM Industry and shared how they acquired knowledge above software development; Majd and Muhammad were also introduced to all departments in which they were taught about the industry and leadership.
Their first months were highly effective. The young leaders worked on automating EFS Carnival season 8 processes and created an application that connected all the committees. The new automation process allowed an integrated database of all carnival-related information. It switched the operations from the previous manual system, increasing productivity and integrating a more sustainable approach by reducing paper utilization to 22%.
Furthermore, their mentor, EFS Group General Manager, FMPro Technology Solutions, Samar A. Salih added that they created an application that gives the system an analytical capability to build a training database, allowing the Group decision-makers to have more informed decisions for their team’s current and future training requirements.
Lastly, Majd and Muhammad concluded that the program has allowed them to further their skills and shaped them to pursue their career goals and further improve their career path.
