KHDA issues a new license to EFS Centre of Excellence for professional and management development and FM training

EFS Facilities Services Group is pleased to announce that our Centre of Excellence (COE) has obtained the Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA) License in Professional and Management Development Training, Technical and Occupational Skills Training, Management training and Hospitality Tourism training.

Set to establish new benchmarks through training programs, research and innovation in the FM industry to establish the finest standards in FM excellence. EFS COE is fully equipped to expand the scope of its learning and development activities beyond EFS staff to external training.

Speaking on the new COE’s milestone, our Group Chief Executive Officer, Tariq Chauhan, said: “EFS has embedded learning and development as an integral part of its People First strategy. With this new training license, we aim to bolster the FM learning journey for EFSians and others in their quest for progression & development”.

Adding to the Group CEO’s statement, Najwa Makhlouf, Senior General Manager of COE, said: “EFS Group has invested in its education management system administered in such a pragmatic manner helping the organization to build a competent workforce. EFS takes pride in establishing a digital infrastructure that grants our employees the flexibility of remote and engaged learning”.

The Group is already accredited by The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA), US Green Building Council (USGBC), British Safety Council.

EFS is fully compliant with and certified in QMS-ISO 9001:2015, EMS-ISO14001:2015, OHS ISO 45001:2018 and ISMS ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standards. [AD1]

This new merit is earned from successful accomplishments and service excellence demonstrated by the Group in its global operations, upskilling efforts and reputation within the industry.
